Composed of DZR forged brass, this transition ball valve is corrosion free and can be used to install shut-off valves and transition from PVC to any compatible pipes quickly and easily. These brass transition ball valves have color-coordinated collars on their ends to identify which side goes with which pipe. The white collar end of this plumbing ball valve works well with schedule 40, 80, and 120 PVC pipe while the tan collar end works well with PEX, CPVC, PE-RT, SDR-9 HDPE, and copper pipes, in any combination. The SharkBite brass PVC transition fitting features a push-to-connect mechanism for a watertight union, and allows for quick and easy installation, with no tools, crimping, glue, or soldering required. SharkBite tools and fittings are ideal for working in tight spaces and can be installed in wet lines.
