- Precision honed bores on straight bore couplings for superior fit and torque transmission. Does not mar the shaft. Two-piece styles have opposing hardware for a balanced design.
- Proprietary Nypatch anti-vibration hardware prevents galling, maintains high holding power, and allows for multiple screw insertions. Nypatch significantly reduces installation time as no additional screw treatment is needed prior to use.
- Keyways are used for additional torque transmission capabilities and to prevent slippage on the shaft.
- Made from 1215 lead-free steel with proprietary black oxide finish for increased holding power and corrosion resistance and machined to a fine burr-free finish.
- Hardware exceeds DIN 912 12.9 standards for maximum torque capabilities. Ruland rigid couplings are carefully made from select North American bar stock in our Marlborough, Massachusetts factory and are RoHS3 and REACH compliant.
